Ronnie gave Tranmere World his post-match thoughts after Rovers beat Accrington Stanley 1-0 in th Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday night.....

"The win was the most important thing, not so much the performance.  We worked hard, we just needed to move the ball faster."

"Eddy has good ability and he gets a lot of chances.  Hopefully that will lift him now and he goes on and gets more goals.

Ronnie Moore Dugout

"That's two wins now on the trot? Can we make it five?  We've got a massive game on Saturday now, they're playing well and there's a bit of feeling there."

"Kaysy has a cut lip that needed stitching inside and outside. His tooth came through his lip and put a hole in it.  Then you end up with Luke Waterfall who is only just 18 and Ryan Shotton who is 19 and they've done alright. They worked hard and it's a nice game for them."

Moore also confirmed that Ben Chorley missed the game due the birth of his baby.
