Emergency services say three people were treated for the effects of smoke after a fire at a flat in Edinburgh.
Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service said two people had to be rescued from the flat in Montgomery Street by firefighters using a crane.
Two men and one woman were being treated by ambulance staff for slight smoke inhalation.
Officers said another six people were helped from the block of flats, but were uninjured.
