A WHEELCHAIR basketball club has donated five chairs to a charity drive for the disabled of Africa.
Terence Mills Trust's Wheels4Africa appeal collects, refurbishes and distributes wheelchairs donated from across the UK.
Gary Smith, from Lothian Phoenix Wheelchair Basketball Club, said: "My old sports wheelchair has been sitting in my shed for years and years.
"The wheels are all buckled and they need new tyres and spokes, but if Wheels4Africa are able to recondition my old chair and someone in Africa can benefit from this, that will be amazing."
