Another_world_coverart Many gamers would not hesitate to list Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid series as the most important games they've ever played, but what games served to mold Kojima into a maestro of pixelated sneaking?

Surprisingly, his own Metal Gear Solid appears in the man's top five, reports Kotaku.

The rest of the list includes Nintendo's Super Mario Bros., Xevious, Out of this World (aka Outer World in Japan and Another World in Europe) and Square Enix's  Japanese detective adventure title Portopia Renzoku Satsujin Jiken.

An interesting glimpse into Mr. Kojima's head, certainly, but it makes me wonder which games he absolutely despises.
